Official Contest Rules

Colour Your Lake Life Contest and Muskoka Lakes Challenge

1. Sponsor

The contest is sponsored by Virtual Tees | Print-On-Demand, a division of 2768535 Ontario Inc., 15 Gray Road, Unit 1, Bracebridge, Ontario P1L 1P8 (“VirtualTees” or the “Sponsor”).

2. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Official colouring pages may be downloaded without charge from the contest website. Buying a colouring book or any VirtualTees product does not improve an entrant’s chance of winning.

3. Contest Period

Entries open July 19, 2026 at 12:00 am EDT and close October 4, 2026 at 11:59 pm EDT. Voting opens July 19, 2026 at 12:00 am EDT and closes October 12, 2026 at 11:59 pm EDT. The Sponsor’s server clock governs all deadlines.

4. Eligibility and Minors

The contest is open to individuals of all ages who are legal residents of Canada. An entrant who has not reached the age of majority in their province or territory must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian must provide the requested information, approve the entry and accept these rules on the entrant’s behalf. Employees, representatives and household members of the Sponsor may enter for exhibition but are not eligible to win a prize.

5. How to Enter

Complete an official Lake Life colouring page, photograph or scan the complete artwork, and submit it through the contest website. Select the corresponding lake or Muskoka Region page and provide all required information and consents. Entrants may submit multiple entries, but every entry must be a separately completed official page. Automated, incomplete, duplicate-image, altered-template or misidentified entries may be rejected.

6. Entry Review and Public Display

Entries require email verification and Sponsor approval before publication. Only the entrant’s first name, last initial, selected lake and submitted artwork will be displayed publicly. The Sponsor may reject or remove content that is incomplete, unlawful, offensive, unrelated to the contest, technically unsuitable, deceptive or inconsistent with these rules.

7. Licence and Representations

Entrants retain ownership of their original colouring work. By entering, the entrant—and parent or guardian when applicable—grants the Sponsor a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, resize, display and promote the submitted image in connection with the contest, Lake Life campaign, Sponsor website, social media, radio promotion and winner announcements. The entrant confirms that the submitted work was completed by the named entrant and does not infringe another person’s rights.

8. Voting

Visitors may vote for multiple entries, but may vote for the same entry only once during each seven-day voting period. Each voting period is calculated in consecutive seven-day blocks beginning when contest voting opens. A vote counts only after the voter uses the verification link sent to the supplied email address. Votes may be reviewed using email, IP, device, timing and other fraud indicators.

Automated voting, disposable or fabricated accounts, vote buying, exchange schemes, scripts, bots, impersonation, manipulation or other attempts to defeat the voting limits are prohibited. The Sponsor may reject, void or adjust votes and disqualify an entrant connected to manipulation. Public standings are provisional and may differ from final audited results.

9. Muskoka Lakes Challenge

Each verified vote for an eligible lake entry is also credited to that lake. Muskoka Region is a general regional page rather than a lake: its entries remain fully eligible for the three individual contest prizes, but their votes are not included in the Muskoka Lakes Challenge standings. Lake standings are promotional and do not create an additional prize unless the Sponsor announces one in writing. The Sponsor may publish rankings, percentages, entry counts and trends without publishing exact entry vote totals.

10. Winner Determination

After voting closes and the vote audit is completed, the three eligible approved entries with the highest number of verified votes will be the potential first-, second- and third-prize winners. In the event of a tie affecting a prize position, the tied entries will be resolved by a witnessed coin toss conducted by the Sponsor. The result will be documented and is final, subject to applicable law.

11. Prizes

One first prize of a $500 VirtualTees shopping credit, one second prize of a $250 VirtualTees shopping credit, and one third prize of a $100 VirtualTees shopping credit will be awarded. Shopping credits have no cash value, are not transferable, cannot be combined with another winner’s credit and are subject to the redemption deadline and reasonable purchase conditions provided to the winner.

12. Winner Confirmation

Potential winners will be contacted using the information submitted with the entry and must respond within the period stated in the notice. Before a prize is awarded, a potential winner—or their parent or guardian when applicable—may be required to confirm eligibility, sign a declaration and release, and correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance. Failure to complete these requirements may result in disqualification and selection of the next eligible entry.

13. Privacy and Communications

Personal information is collected to administer entries, verify votes, prevent fraud, contact participants and award prizes. It will not be displayed except as stated in these rules. Newsletter consent is optional, is not required to enter or vote, and does not improve the chance of winning. Entrants and voters who select the newsletter option may unsubscribe at any time.

14. Technical Conditions

The Sponsor is not responsible for interrupted service, delayed email, incompatible files, upload failure, corrupted data or circumstances beyond reasonable control. If the contest cannot operate as intended, the Sponsor may suspend, modify or terminate it and determine a fair outcome from eligible activity already received, subject to applicable law.

15. General

All Sponsor decisions regarding eligibility, verification, vote auditing and rule interpretation are final, subject to applicable law. The contest is governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. If a rule is unenforceable, the remaining rules continue in effect.
